In order to ensure your ultrasonic bath is working at maximum efficiency it is important to carry out regular checks. These checks are required regardless of the application as an ultrasonic bath which is not working at full power will lead to increased cleaning times and will impair your cleaning process.

Ultrawave have recognised the need to have a rapid means of testing the ultrasonic activity within a bath and have developed an ultrasonic activity meter.

This easy to use probe measures ultrasonic power and frequency in a matter of seconds to give an instant record of operating efficiency.

Ultrawave Ultrasonic Baths - Lids, Baskets & Beakers

 

Lids, baskets, beakers and beaker holders can all be purchased separately from Ultrawave. Whatever your requirement we aim to provide the items you need to produce the best cleaning results for your application.

Lids are available for every ultrasonic cleaning bath from Ultrawave. The use of a lid provides a more efficient cleaning performance and also reduces the risk of microbial aerosols produced when cleaning contaminated instruments.

Baskets for every Ultrawave benchtop and industrial ultrasonic cleaner can also be purchased separately. Baskets must be used when cleaning items in an ultrasonic bath. Placing the instruments directly onto the bottom of the ultrasonic tank can damage the bath and invalidate your warranty.

In addition to lids and baskets, Ultrawave offer a range of beakers and beaker holders for use in the ultrasonic bath. Pyrex standard beakers and holders are available in 400ml, 600ml and 1 litre sizes.

Ultrawave Ultrasonic Baths Hygea 5000

 

The Hygea 5000 has been designed to clean hollow lumen instruments and rigid scopes used during operating theatre procedures, and combines Ultrawave power and reliability with full process validation, allowing for easy traceability, an area which is now vital in instrument reprocessing.

The Hygea 5000 also has the capability to clean any surgical instrument which has been used for a surgical procedure. The instruments can be placed into the basket and will undergo the same rigorous cleaning action, ensuring serrated edges and hinge joints are completely decontaminated.

Ultrawave Ultrasonic Baths Hygea 1250 

 

The benchtop Hygea 1250 is for use in healthcare sites such as Dental Surgeries, Doctors Surgeries and Chiropodist’s where small surgical instruments are used. They are also suitable for use in hospitals as part of the surgical instrument decontamination process of items such as surgical forceps and scalpels. The ultrasonic power of the Hygea means that even the heaviest contaminants, such as dental cement, are removed.

Once the parameters are set and the detergent has been added the Hygea 1250 takes just three button presses to begin each cycle.

Cleaning Process Control Understanding the operator’s need to trace cleaning processes, each Q-Series cleaner is fitted with an integral SD card slot which allows digital validation of every cleaning cycle.  Rather than traditional hard copy validation provided by printers, the Q-Series allows digital traceability of every cleaning cycle. When an SD card is plugged into the Q-Series, the cleaning cycle parameters are immediately saved on the card for easy transfer to a PC. Each cleaning cycle parameter is recorded meaning that operators have a traceable record which can be easily saved and the cleaning cycle repeated.
