Incubators - Genlab

 

CONSTRUCTION

The new LEEC Classic Range of incubators have fully sealed chambers manufactured from polished stainless steel with rounded corners for easy cleaning. The outer cabinet is manufactured from stainless steel, and has a tough powder coat paint finish. This gives the incubator exceptional corrosion resistance. An inner glass viewing door closes positively onto a silicone gasket and allows a clear view of the chamber contents without disturbing the internal atmosphere. The outer door has a magnetic gasket providing a good seal. A rear access port allows temperature monitoring probes to be inserted safely into the incubator chamber.

HEATING

New profiled resistive wire heating elements and high performance insulation ensure optimum temperature control. All models have gentle fan assisted air circulation. This ensures even temperature distribution throughout the chamber. Fast temperature recovery keeps heat loss to a minimum after door opening.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL

The latest in microprocessor temperature controller technology gives this incubator range excellent temperature stability to within 0.1°C. Fuzzy Logic and Auto Tune features allow the controller to adapt to each chamber size, optimising their performance and accuracy. The controller is simple to use, with target and actual temperatures being displayed in real time on a two-colour digital display.

SAFETY

Over and under temperature alarm thresholds can be programmed into the controller. An independent safety cut out disconnects the heating elements should an over temperature condition occur. The controller can be password protected too, stopping any unauthorised adjustments to the Set Point and alarm thresholds.

Temperature Control
Monitoring and control of both heating and cooling functions is performed with great accuracy, and achieves typical temperature stability of ±0.5°C.
The LED digital display allows the temperature performance to be easily verified. A digitally set overtemp- erature safety cutout is fitted to all models.


Humidity Control (Ultrasonic Type)
All /RH models are fitted with an ultrasonic fine mist humidity generator located in the airflow. The microprocessor controller accurately monitors and adjusts the chamber humidity level. All RH models are able to dehumidify as well as increase humidity. It should be noted that not all combinations of humidity and temperature are possible. Temperature and humidity performance varies according to the combination selected.

An inner glass viewing door closes positively onto an inert (no VOC's) gasket and allows a clear view of the chamber contents without disturbing the internal atmosphere. The outer door has a magnetic gasket providing a good seal. A side access port allows temperature monitoring probes to be inserted safely into the CO2 incubator chamber.

A new 6 sided direct heating system with high performance insulation ensure the highest standards in temperature control and stability. The independent outer door heater ensures that the inner glass door remains condensate free. 

DECONTAMINATION

We have designed this incubator to eliminate contamination inside the chamber. Features include fan-less air circulation, a crevice-free, electro-polished, one-piece chamber, HEPA filtered gas inlet and a market leading 160°C dry-heat decontamination option (P190D). Externally, the paint contains an active anti-bacterial biocide.
