Understanding Class II Cabinets
A laboratory Class 2 cabinet, also known as a biosafety cabinet (BSC), is a specialised ventilated workspace designed to provide protection to the user, the environment, and the materials being handled. The cabinet draws in ambient air, which is then filtered and circulated within the workspace to create a sterile environment.
