to keep your lab up and running! With LABOPORT®,
there’s no need to worry about corrosive condensate droplets damaging
valve parts and degrading performance. Never again be delayed by expensive
off-site pump repairs. Here's why:
Molded diaphragms and heads of Teflon®
resin KNF builds their pumps with solid Teflon® resin for
the ultimate protection against aggressive vapors. KNF pioneered use of
Teflon® resin in the manufacture of their diaphragm pumps. This material
is now used in all LABOPORT® pumps. There is no peeling or blistering, as
can happen over time with coated heads. Also, there is no metal clamping
disk, a source of leaks and corrosion with traditional diaphragm pumps.
Multi-Port valves of Kalrez® resin
This valve is an exciting breakthrough in diaphragm pump design, and is a
patented product from KNF’s worldwide R&D center. The tough,
circular valve disk made of Kalrez® resin spans several smaller holes
instead of one large hole, and can easily withstand punishment created by
pumping liquid droplets. Older, less efficient flapper-type valves can be
easily damaged by liquids, necessitating expensive repairs, inconvenient
delays and equipment downtime. |
