The OxC System

Uninteruptible Conditions Means:

bullet Better Cell Growth
bullet Consistent Results
bullet Better Cell Health

Oxygen is an important aspect of the environment for cells in vitro. It affects the differentiation and proliferation of cells as well as the expression of many genes or regulators.

Oxygen incubators do not have the range of oxygen concentration that cells need, such as 1.0% or lower. If you need to only culture a few plates, an incubator is not efficient. Flushboxes with premixed gas is a lot of work and gas levels may be inconsistent over the course of the experiment

The OxC System provides modular and scalable components to optimize your oxygen sensitive research. The system can be configured for any diverse need and upgraded at any time. Whether you are just starting oxygen sensitive research or are a veteran, we will build a system to fit your needs.

The OxC system is the most efficient, definitive and flexible system for oxygen cell culture research. It combines all the components, controllers to chambers, and fits them to your needs.

Controllers are definitive and precise because they work by feedback control. As soon as the oxygen level is disrupted, the sensor catches the change and the controller immediately reacts to bring the concentration back to setpoint. Regardless of chamber leaks, oxygen consumption or generation within the chamber, the controllers efficiently keep the chamber at setpoint.

Chambers sit inside the host incubator and serve as an atmosphere for your cultures. The chambers come in several sizes to maximize the controllers' efficiency. Using the smallest chamber needed is the best option because you consume less gas, use less space in host incubator and the chamber reaches the setpoint faster.

The OxC System is flexible and scalable to fit your needs. There are various options available from single setpoint control to profiling and dissolved oxygen monitoring. It can be configured for any diverse need. An extensive upgrade path has been designed from the start.

The ProOxC system is the simplest OxC system. It is a single setpoint, single chamber, normobaric oxygen controller. Our C-Chambers are designed to work efficiently with the ProOx controller.

The ProOx is small in size and takes up little lab space. The C-Chamber sits inside your host incubator and is connected to the ProOx by a tiny umbilical, which can be threaded into the incubator through any port or passageway. The system is compact and multiple chambers will fit inside most temperature controlled incubators.

This system has various options, such as dissolved oxygen control or adding carbon dioxide control with our ProCO2 controller. Multiple controllers allow you to control in multiple chambers and each can have different oxygen levels.

The ProOxC system is the starting point for the OxC system. Upgrades begin here.

The C42 System includes our sophisticated OxyCycler controller as well as C- Chambers and a computer interface system. This system allows you to perfectly simulate dynamic physiologic conditions with control over oxygen and carbon dioxide concentrations.

Our elite OxyCycler controllers allow you to program oxygen and carbon dioxide concentrations to change automatically over time. Setpoints can be anywhere from 0.1% to 99.9% oxygen (0.0% to 20.0% CO2) and can be held for any length of time. The rate of change between two setpoints is fully adjustable and any profile can be cycled continuously or a fixed number of cycles.

This system has various options similar to the ProOx/C system, such as dissolved oxygen control. Never again assume what level of oxygen your cells see; control and document oxygen levels within the media.

The C42 System includes two of our C-Chambers, but has options for multiple chambers. The controller simultaneously controls different profiles in different chambers.

The computer interface allows real-time trend charting, data logging and remote operation.

The OxC System is designed for uninterruptible oxygen control. The C-Shuttle Glovebox system provides an oxygen-controlled environment for handling cells. Whether your controlling with the ProOx or the C42, the C-Shuttle is a separate option for uninterrupted oxygen control.

The C-Chambers provide a gas tight transport chamber from your incubator to the C-Shuttle.

The C-Shuttle has options for housing the C-Chambers within an incubator inside the glovebox.

The OxC System is completely flexible and customizable. We build all of the components you need for your oxygen sensitive research. They are all integrated and modular so as your needs change, the equipment adapts to your needs. Any configuration is possible and you have complete flexibility. No other system compares for efficient, definitive, oxygen research.
