Introducing the Fusion™ Universal
Microplate Analyzer

If your research takes you from solution to cell based assays, in 6 to 1536
well formats, using virtually any non-isotopic method of detection, the Fusion™
universal microplate analyzer is the only instrument that can meet your ever
changing needs. From basic research to assay development to high throughput
screening, the Fusion is the first multi-detection platform that you configure
to suit both your research requirements and budget.
Any Assay - Whether your research involves cell based assays, solution
based assays, enzyme assays, reporter gene assays, immunoassays, binding
studies, or molecular biology, the Fusion universal microplate analyzer can
help.
Any Format - The Fusion analyzer can also handle microplates from
6-wells to 1536-wells.
Any Method of Detection - There are ten detection modes in one system:
 | Reads AlphaScreen™ (Amplified Luminescent Proximity Homogeneous Assay)
technology creating one powerful assay miniaturization tool.
 | Detect any TRF (Time-Resolved Fluorescence) chemistry including HTRF®
(Homogeneous Time-Resolved Fluorescence), Europium cryptates, Europium
chelates, Terbium, Samarium, and Dysprosium.
 | Fluorescence modes include FRET (Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer),
top reading fluorescence intensity for solution based assays, and bottom
reading fluorescence intensity for cell based assays.
 | Luminescence modes include glow luminescence, enhanced flash luminescence,
and dual reporter assays.
 | Absorbance readings from UV (for 260 / 280 readings) through the visible
spectrum are supported. With the power of the Fusion, you only need one
instrument. |

Easy to use with automatic optimization capabilities
 | The Auto-Z, X-Y-Z stage automatically adjusts the plate position relative
to the optics to the best height for your plate type. No manual adjustments
are necessary.
 | Two optical channels, each optimized to the specific chemistries detected,
provide more methods of detection than any other system.
 | A modular platform, including modular software, modular hardware, and
modular electronics, allows you to configure the Fusion to meet your current
research needs and budget. Modularity also makes the Fusion capable of
growing as your research needs change.
 | Top or bottom plate reading is allowed in fluorescence intensity mode
through a simple software switch. |
